"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest." Elie Wiesel
It can be as easy as emailing our announcements to your friends, family and neighbors; putting a sign up in your yard; or as devoted as walking door to door delivering flyers.
Submit written testimony in support or opposition of Zoning & Plan issues or other city issues so the leaders know we care and are watching.
Come to as many city meetings as possible and post/share what you learned. Understand the issues and help give your ideas and opinions.
Help us get public opinions by talking to your neighbors and reporting your findings, or use one of our formal surveys and help influence our goals.
We can use volunteers for an afternoon, a week, a month or even a year. We have a lot of small and large ideas and need help with all of it.
If we delegate the duties among many, we can accomplish great things without sacrificing a lot of time, effort and money.
We would like the coordinator team membership to be at least 6 - 8 people. We would take turns attending meetings and share what we learn at a monthly meeting. We would vote on goals for the team and, hopefully, strongly shape our future City of Ammon.
Donate paper, donate ink, pay for a banner, or ask others to help. Investigate Idaho and City law to help support our views and goals. All email lists, messages, names, and donations are kept private. Written permission is required before sharing your name with anyone. We cannot take cash donations at this time. All services and help will be non-paid volunteers.
